Persicos odi, puer, apparatus,
Boy, i hate the Persian luxuries

displicent nexae philyra coronae;
the crowns composed with bast (Fiber);

mitte sectari, rosa quo locorum
Abandon pursuing, where of locations

sera moretur.
the late rose delays.

simplici myrto nihil adlabores
I care that you do not add anything diligently to the simple myrtle

sedulus, curo: neque te ministrum
the myrtle is neither unbecoming for you as a servant,

dedecet myrtus, neque me sub arta
nor for me, drinking, under the dense vine.
